And the winner is...! + Details of the next Beauty Giveaway Contest.

Random.org, schmandom.org- some things are more fun done the old-fashioned way! I printed lists of all you lovely people, cut each name out and in they went into a paper lunch bag! After much shaking and one reach of my hand, we have a winner!
Congratulations, Hollie of Georgia, U.S.A! Jane Iredale Circle/Delete Concealer is one of my stable beauty products and I’m getting ready to write a Product-analysis on it in the next week or so!

This was too much fun for me; I absolutely must do more contests! Next up: I'm giving away Smashbox O-GLOW Intuitive Cheek Color, $26 value! Check blog regularly as I will post the contest dates on top of my “follow” index. Good luck, fellow farmgirls!

Thank you sincerely to EVERYONE who visits my blog. There are loyal readers who contact me regularly but are a bit too shy to display their pretty profile on the “follow” index. I just want everyone to know that I am so touched by your support and I will continue to brainstorm for ideas and submit myself as a guinea pig to my wacky experiments. You guys are awesome :D.

Congrats to the winner! I posted a little request for you in the comments on my blog, but don't know if you saw that... Anyhow, could you recommend a good face wash for acne-prone skin? Something not too harsh and also available for someone based in Europe :) Thanks for help in advance, your tips are amazing! xxx

Hi Rocaille,

I'm sorry I didn't see that request. Let me do some research for you and I'll get back to you :D Can you tell me some of the brands you've tried but didn't have luck with?

Hi sweetie, thank you so much for answering! I didn't really have much luck in the past with any face washing products, I tried Vichy, La Roche Posay, Nivea, some Polish brands for sensitive skin (this last one was the worst). My skin is extremely oily and acne-prone, but sensitive at the same time. I found that any harsh products containing salycilic acid or alcohol denat (in toners, for example) don't really work for me, they only make my skin 'make up' for the lost oils by producing even more sebum :( I'll defo try the baby wash you recommended! Thank you SOO much for help and sorry for such a long post :) Take care! xxx

Hi Rocaille,

no worries about the long post :D Yes, Salicylic acid and alcohol are both very stripping on my skin as well. Try the J&J. I would actually recommend a cleansing oil for you before you use the J&J, as a precleanse. I do believe DHC is available through their .com to Europe. They have a very popular cleansing oil they I'll probably be reviewing in the next few weeks. Keep me updated on the J&J, sounds like your skin is sensitive like mine. While J&J is suitable for a broad range of skin types, I would be more than happy to help you find something that's even more compatible with your skin.

Actually, can you order from www.acne.org? I use their cleanser currently and it's been wonderful. I think it would work for you too if the J&J doesn't pan out. Sorry for the lack of coherence, I'm brainstorming ;) Anyways, keep me updated and you can always email me at brilliant.farmgirl@gmail.com
