As a beauty blogger I get opportunities to try many great skincare brands. With that said, there’s one skincare line I buy and stock up on regularly. Yes, I am that addicted to Garden of Wisdom. For those who aren’t familiar with GoW, simply do a keyword search “gow” on Makeupalley’s Skincare Board to see the how well-loved this brand is by skincare junkies. Simply put, there’s not a single brand out there that can match GoW’s efficacy and potency when it comes to the serums they make. It thrills me to no ends to see the formulation jam-packed with treatment ingredients. Unlike glossed over skincare lines you see sitting pretty on store shelves, the people at GoW aren’t preoccupied with cutting costs and skimping on raw materials so they can afford their next ad campaign. As a result, they use the highest percentage of the most advanced active ingredients with practically no fillers so their products WORK. Their simple formulation leaves no residue on the skin and it never irritates my hopelessly sensitive complexion. Check out my Garden of Wisdom favorites:
Concord Grape Anti-Ox Serum: I use this every morning to provide an antioxidant shield of protection over my skin. If you are obsessed with wearing sunscreen everyday, it’s time you amp up your sun protection with an antioxidant serum as it literally gives an additional layer of protection against UV rays and environmental detriments.
Skin Communicator Serum: All of their serums come in these trial sizes so you can give each a whirl without breaking the bank. This serum feels great on the skin and contains an anti-aging power player called Syntacks, which is used in many top-of-the-line anti-aging treatments. I’ve used up the entire trial size since taking this picture and I think I need more of this.

wow, thanks for the ingredient list photos. they seem really natural...does this mean these products expire quickly or need to be refrigerated?

I totally forgot to talk about that! I love that they're a clean skincare line that is properly preserved with gentle, paraben-free preservatives likes Cosmocil and Optiphen.
Even so, I love keeping backups of my GoW in the fridge to maintain freshness.

Great reviews - thanks! Can you tell us a little more about how/when you use each product? Do you rotate? Which ones for AM and which for PM?
Basically, where do these fit into your daily routine and do you use any other actives like retinoids, etc?

So nice of you to visit from MUA! I use the Concord, Summer and BLT-RC in the morning for the antioxidant benefits. PhytoStemCell, Communicator and Majik Matrix for night-time rejuvenation :D
Concord for Day and PhytoStemCell for night is my regular routine. I use the others when I need to switch it up a bit (although since taking the picture, I've used these up!).
In the morning, I apply the Concord, wait for it to dry then I applied Emu Oil as my moisturizer over it (makes my mineral powder go on like a dream!). At night, I only use PhytoStemCell with nothing over it.
I don't use my retinoids or other actives. The ones I've posted is all I use to get antioxidant and anti-aging benefits.

I'm super picky when it comes to texture as well. They're all in pump dispenser as opposed to spray dispenser. However, they're all more watery than gel. None of them leave a residue and they sink in just like water :)

What is the difference between Matrixyl 3000 and Matrixyl and how come it has both? :/

Interesting question. Both are good anti-aging alternative to retinol and vitamin c (my skin cannot tolerate retinol or vitamin c) and they do essentially the same thing.
Only difference that I know of is that the 2 are made up of different types of peptides and Matrixyl 3000 may be more effective. However, the studies on the 3000 version is still new as the regular Matrixyl has been around longer, so I think it makes good sense that GoW included both in their formulation. It's especially good for us customers!
