Get this!: Rejuva Baked Mineral Foundation has the swirls and sheen reminiscent of MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish but contains only the following ingredients:
Mica, Sericite Mica, Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) seed oil, Safflower (Carthamus Tinctorius) seed oil, Lavandula Angustifolia flower extract, Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) extract, Green Tea (Camelia Sinensis) extract, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), Rosemary Leaf (Rosemarinus Officinalis) extract, Magnolia Bark (Magnolia Officinalis) extract, Iron Oxides
(Bonus: no micronized or “nano-sized” minerals were used to make this baked-in-Italy mineral powder- double plus in my book.)
Want that: The Nars Multiples are calling your name but you’ve sworn off complicated ingredients that could suffocate your pores.
Get this!: Vapour Beauty offers an entire line of stick-form mineral makeup made with certified organic ingredients, natural pigments and skin-nourishing botanical oils. Their Solar Translucent Bronzer easily rivals Nars Multiples in Waikiki and South Beach. I also love their Stratus Instant Skin Perfector when I want to achieve a velvety smooth finish without using conventional primers (this smooths over fine lines around my eyes!). And with ingredient lists so clean, they won’t clog pores like regular cream or stick makeup products do.
Want that: You want to try Latisse for fuller, longer lashes but could do without the prescription substance and prostaglandin. It runs the risk of darkened skin around eyes and changing of eye color- No, thank you!
Get this!: Lashem is an alternative lash growth treatment that utilizes patented Lipo Oligo-peptide, Pro-Vitamin B-5 and Biotin to promote 40% longer lashes in 2 weeks without the use of prostagladin. The formula is boosted with a blend of botanical extracts with NO harsh preservatives like parabens and methylchloroisothiazalinone. I like to use this on both my lashline (to combat daily damages from mascara use) and brows (for, well, brows!).

Farmgirl
Hi Farmgirl (: What color of the baked foundation would you recommend for lite-med. yellow skintone?
Hi there,
You'd find a match with Antique Beige ;)
Farmgirl
Ooh I've heard such good things about vapour cosmetics, I def want to try them soon! Your blog is so informative, thank you! x
Hi Ariel,
I'm so glad you find my blog helpful! I'm also loving their concealers and lipstick in Desire ;)
Farmgirl
Your blog is so cute and full of great tips!!! :D I don't wear a ton of make up, mostly just mascara and lip gloss. The tubular mascara sounds interesting...
Aww, thanks Jill!
I absolutely LOVE tubing mascaras. Without them, I'd spend summer with black smudges under my eyes.

This sounds so tempting, I am always wishing to have longer fuller darker lashes:)
Btw dear, I created a new blog cuz I will be deleting my old one, please follow me there if you can: http://fashionandbeautylights.blogspot.com/
Thank you,
Irene
I've never heard of this before. I've used LiLash - this was fantastic, my eyelashes really did grow and I got asked all the time if I was wearing false lashes. YAY congratulations I am your 500th follower!!!
I believe you are right, sweetheart! The number 500 looks great :D Wow, congratulations on the results, that's amazing! Did you have pretty long lashes to begin with?

have you tried the vapour blushes?
could you make a blush recommendation for vapour? esp for medium, tan skin.
their website shows two types of blush. one type of blush called "radiant" has many more colors but they're sparkly. are the differences between the two blushes noticeable?
Hi Sue,
I haven't tried their blushes yet :( If I were to choose one for you, I'd go for the Aura Multi Use Blush. They are basically the same formulation but the other has sparkles.
Depending on the type of flush you're trying to achieve for your medium tan skintone, Spark would be a great coral nude, which is one of the hottest colors this summer. If you are prepping for fall, I'd go for a bit more drama with the color Torch. A tiny dab of this would give the perfect amount of flush. The color Crush would be too blue-toned to compliment a tan skintone. Hope that helps!
Farmgirl
super helpful. i was looking at the coral blush as well. but you're right...fall is around the corner. thanks!
hi farmgirl,
back again with another question about vapour beauty...they have a mini set of their best products (stratus perfector, foundation, and multi-use stick)...i didn't plan on buying foundation, but what would you recommend for tan asian skin (medium dark)?
thanks!
HI Sue!
Ooh, great question. You know, I haven't tried their foundation but I suspect that 135 would be great for the summer and 125 would be great for the winter. I've heard these are light coverage so the shade is pretty forgiving.
